Frequently Asked Questions

What is Golf & Grapes?

Golf & Grapes creates travel experiences centered on distinctive golf, cultivated wine experiences, great food, and time spent together. Our trips are designed so golfers and non-golfers both enjoy the experience, with shared moments each day.

Who are Golf & Grapes trips designed for?

Our experiences are designed for:

  • couples

  • friends traveling together

  • golfers traveling with non-golfing partners

  • small, like-minded groups

Some trips are hosted by Golf Professionals or Sommeliers; others are formed by private groups. In all cases, the experience is designed around the people who are part of it.

Do non-golfers have planned activities while golfers are playing?

Yes. Non-golfers enjoy tailored daytime experiences selected around their interests and the destination. These are planned with the same care as the golf and are not treated as secondary to it.

Are Golf & Grapes trips only for golfers?

No. While golf is a central part of the experience, many guests join specifically for the wine, food, culture, and shared travel experience.

How long are Golf & Grapes trips?

Most experiences are designed around a week, but trip length can vary based on the destination and group preferences.

Where do Golf & Grapes trips take place?

Golf & Grapes experiences are hosted in select wine regions where quality golf, wine, and cultural experiences come together naturally. Destinations are chosen carefully and may vary from year to year.

Do you publish exact courses, wineries, or hotels in advance?

No. We share detailed information with confirmed guests, but we do not publish full itineraries publicly. This allows us to remain flexible, protect relationships with partners, and tailor each experience to the group.

Is transportation included?

Yes. Transportation related to the experience — including transfers between accommodations, golf courses, wineries, and planned activities — is included unless otherwise specified.

What is typically included in a Golf & Grapes experience?

Inclusions vary by trip, but generally include:

  • accommodations

  • golf arrangements

  • wine experiences

  • many meals

  • local transportation

  • planning and on-the-ground coordination

Specific inclusions are outlined clearly before booking.

Are Golf & Grapes trips hosted?

Many experiences are hosted by a Golf Professional, Sommelier, or a member of the Golf & Grapes team. Others are private group experiences. In all cases, the experience is planned and coordinated by Golf & Grapes.

Can Golf Professionals or Sommeliers host their own groups?

Yes. Golf Professionals and Sommeliers may host Golf & Grapes experiences for groups they bring together. Details are discussed privately and vary based on the group and destination.

How many people are typically on a trip?

Group sizes vary. Some experiences are designed for a single foursome; others accommodate larger groups. All trips are structured to maintain a comfortable, personal feel.

What level of golf is required?

Many courses require golfers to carry an established handicap. Specific requirements vary by destination and course and are shared during planning.

Are Golf & Grapes trips physically demanding?

Trips are designed at a comfortable pace. Golfers should expect to play multiple rounds during the experience; non-golfers can choose from a range of activities with varying levels of activity.

How far in advance should we inquire?

We recommend reaching out as early as possible, especially for peak travel seasons. Because we host a limited number of experiences each year, availability can be limited.

How do we get started?

The first step is a conversation. Tell us a bit about your group, timing, and interests, and we’ll take it from there.
